Summary

  • You get a Tesla V100 for $0.99/hr, which is 1/3 the cost of AWS/GCP/Azure/[insert big cloud name].
  • Do NOT leave them till the end or you will hate your life (and as a consequence write worse tests).
  • I had a trello with all the cards I'm doing + all the ideas and at various points in the project I triaged it to see which cards I would now / which later / which I'd leave out of the first release.
  • Especially once the userbase starts hitting the machines.
